I
owe my early diagnostic jobs to animals and gambling.
That is the beginning of “Diagnostic Thinking: An Approach
to Learning.” Within the 10 elements of an anatomy of
a diagnostic service, the core resource is learning
how to think about the case at hand and arrive at a
diagnosis. This material is not about how to measure
or apply diagnostic equipment, although you will learn
some tips. It is about thinking about what you are seeing
and about how to figure out what you want to know.
This session is a guided, interactive discussion that
is built around personal experiences and opinions and
is enhanced by nine case studies that are woven into
the line of thought of the presentation. Come and bring
your own experiences and opinions about building failures
and practice with them with others on these nine buildings
with problems. The session includes a booklet with outlines,
articles, color copy of the provoking presentation and
nine diagnostic reports. |
