Our Process
Our
work begins with a jobsite visit to determine the scope
and frequency of the problem and to begin our root cause
analysis. To completely mitigate any building problem we
must first find the source of that problem. This is the
only way to eliminate existing problems and prevent those
that may not appear until years later. However, because
a problem is rarely found where it’s caused root cause analysis
usually requires us to look deeper than just at the jobsite.
Purchasing issues, mismanaged trade relations, supply chain
breakdowns or inefficient work processes can all create
problems that manifest in the field. Once problems are identified
and the root cause(s) determined, then we propose solutions
and work with builders and their trades on a permanent resolution.
We
provide the tools and training that empowers and enables
builders and contractors to identify and solve their own
problems. This technology transfer provides the builder
with the same analytic and diagnostic techniques that we
use to do our own investigation. The result is the builder
is able to resolve or prevent problems from occurring before
their customers ever detect the problem or call with a complaint.
To ensure this prevention oriented behavior continues, we
also provide the knowledge and methods that help to initiate
these improvements and ultimately make them a part of the
organizational fabric.
