Michael Thompson (utility member)

Manager, State Affairs - NC, Dominion North Carolina Power

Mr. Thompson is Manager of State Affairs - NC with Dominion North Carolina Power. He joined Virginia Electric and Power Company as Commercial Operations Service Representative in 1975 and held various positions in the Rates Department before moving to Government Affairs in 1985. He assumed the role as company lobbyist in North Carolina in 1993 and in West Virginia in 1997. He serves on the North Carolina State University Physical and Mathematical Sciences Foundation. Thompson joined the Board in January 1998.
