Robert Powell (public member)

North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, NC

Mr. Powell is an assistant professor in the Architectural Engineering Program at North Carolina A&T State University. At A&T, he is a faculty member of the Center for Energy Research and Technology. Mr. Powell has been a practicing architect in Greensboro and has worked with several nonprofit builders to provide affordable housing. Powell is a past chair of the NC Solar Energy Association. He has an engineering degree from Stanford University and a masters in architecture from MIT. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in December 1994.
