POSITION TITLE:
Human Resources Generalist (Temporary)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Advanced Energy is seeking an exceptional HR professional to join our growing team. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will manage and implement a broad range of human resource functions including employment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This is a temporary position, with the potential for hire into a regular, full-time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will handle day-to-day operational activities of Human Resources, as well as the development of programs, processes and guidelines that support the corporate mission, business goals and culture. Reporting to the Vice President of Administration, the Human Resources Generalist will assist and advise Management on all issues related to Human Resources. He/she will lead and implement objectives that support an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Individual will be knowledgeable of all legal and governmental requirements related to employment and will proactively implement reporting and preventive measures that comply with current laws as well as protect the company's interests.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or relevant field required, plus a minimum of 5 years leadership experience in Human Resources; PHR and/or SPHR certification is preferred. Specialized training in a broad range of HR functions is ideal, especially employment law, compensation, benefits, performance management, organizational planning/development, employee relations, training and development, safety, HRIS, and preventive labor relations. Must have demonstrated success in facilitating meetings, counseling/coaching, handling confidential information, managing projects and juggling multiple priorities. Organization skills, interpersonal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software applications are required. This position is ideal for someone who has experience and enjoys working hands-on in a small business environment.
