MARKETING INTERN, NC GREENPOWER

A part-time, paid student internship is available on our NC GreenPower Team for the 2010 fall semester. The NCGP Intern will work 10 to 20 hours per week providing support to the team’s communications and marketing functions. Training and mentoring will be provided. Position is located at our NCSU Centennial Campus office in Raleigh, NC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for volunteer coordination, scheduling and set-up of PR exhibits and events, maintenance of media kits and sales materials, website updates, reporting, data entry, and general administrative activities.

Qualifications: Candidate must be actively enrolled full-time in undergraduate studies at an accredited college or university. Academic major in communications, marketing, or relevant field preferred. Previous related internship experience is a plus. Must have excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office software applications. Attention to detail, professionalism and team attitude a must. Work hours vary and may include nights and weekends.
