Advanced Cooking Technology Center Ushers in a New Era in Foodservice

July 11, 2000

Building strong partnerships is the cornerstone of foodservice activity for Duke Power in 2000 and beyond. With that in mind, Duke Power has joined forces with Advanced Energy and foodservice technology providers serving the Carolinas to bring a new level of service to the foodservice industry and technology end-users through the Advanced Cooking Technology Center (ACTC).

The ACTC will reach out to foodservice equipment manufacturers, dealers, representatives, agents, and end-users to provide them with the facts about electric foodservice equipment and a whole lot more. Whether you're a manufacturer, a manufacturer's representative, dealer, or distributor, the program at Duke Power will provide you with the tools and information you need to serve your customers in new and exciting ways.

If you're an end-user of foodservice equipment, you can benefit from a wealth of information available from trained ACTC staff, trade allies, and partners such as the Electric Foodservice Council , the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers , and the National Restaurant Association . With expertise in the foodservice arena, we will analyze your unique needs, and then recommend appropriate solutions that reduce operating costs, increase efficiency, and improve food product quality - benefits that everyone can appreciate!

The ACTC will also continue to be a premier showcase facility for prominent foodservice technology brands like Alto Shaam, BKI, Blodgett, Cleveland, Groen, Henny Penny, Market Forge, Rational, Vulcan, Winston, and 42 others.

With over 20 years of service to manufacturing and commercial businesses, Advanced Energy brings a credible reputation for testing , prototyping , and demonstrating electricity-based technologies to their role at the ACTC. In addition, Advanced Energy can provide training and staff development and consulting with regard to indoor air quality, space conditioning and ventilation strategies, building diagnostics, lighting decisions, and wastewater treatment.
