recognized consultant joins Advanced Energy to improve home
builder market RALEIGH - After two decades of specializing in company development and efficiency, David A. Schultz joins Advanced Energy to consult builders nationwide on processes that will increase their profitability and customer satisfaction. As business development manager, Schultz will provide consulting services for homebuilders. Additionally, he will manage major national builder accounts and direct sales for Advanced Energy’s builder consulting products and services. Advanced Energy works with builders to offer a line of services that help decrease their risk out in the field and inside the office. Combining technical building science with process improvement, Advanced Energy consultants work with builders to smoothly implement the changes necessary to produce a higher quality product and increase their bottom line. Previously, Schultz served Philip Crosby Associates as a vice president, and then as a senior consultant. There, he identified new business opportunities, developed the company’s presence on the East Coast, enhanced the company performance and increased revenue. Schultz also co-founded Advantage Management Systems, Inc. where his managerial responsibilities consisted of product development, training, market-plan design and consultation. In all these positions, companies relied on Schultz for business development, expansion into new markets and increased revenues. At Advanced Energy, he will draw from these experiences to improve home performance in the building industry. “Building success requires learning how to reform your current practices to meet your customer’s ever-changing expectations,” Schultz said. He is confident this will help create value for customers while eliminating organizational waste – a win for both the builders and their customers. Advanced Energy's builder consultants works to have a positive impact on every building built. By showing the building industry how to use building science to create better structures, they are helping developers to make more profits and to build homes that are more energy efficient and of higher quality. These homes can save owners almost 20 percent of total energy used. In terms of total kilowatts per hour saved, these houses have saved 5,257,908 kWh per year, which is equivalent to not driving a vehicle for about 3.9 million days. This results in a combined savings to all homeowners of $453,235 per year. Schultz received his Bachelor of Arts in social science from Carthage College and his Master in Business Administration from Business Florida Institute of Technology. He has also received training in Strategic and Conceptual Selling Skills, Xerox Sales and Franklin-Covey Management.
