About us Advanced Energy’s Industrial Process Heating Team has the expertise to evaluate, test and recommend unbiased solutions to help customers meet their process heating objectives. With focus on manufacturing steps where heat must be delivered to the product, we collaborate with our clients to evaluate manufacturing processes and to finds ways to improve productivity and reduce energy costs. Each year our engineers conduct dozens of plant visits for our clients to help with financial evaluations of multiple energy delivery technologies, including natural gas, infrared, electric resistance and radio frequency. Our involvement typically extends from the initial evaluation through the vendor selection process and into equipment installation.A typical first step is an opportunity assessment where we gather data on material properties, production levels and energy costs to estimate savings from an alternative heating technology. This helps us in to determine which equipment testing to recommend and perform. Testing can be done either in our lab in Raleigh or by using our equipment at a customer location. We also assist with equipment design and quote verification. One of our goals in working with our clients is to verify that all our project recommendations result in the payback we predicted. Our ultimate goal is to become a trusted partner to help industry deliver the right amount of energy to the right place at the right time.
