Ultraviolet (UV) Curing
In the ultraviolet (UV) curing process, special chemicals
(photoinitiators) are added to coatings, adhesives and inks.
When these chemicals react with certain wavelengths of UV light,
molecular linking occurs, creating a durable finish, superior
adhesion and better-quality products.

Industrial Applications
- Curing headlight and taillights lenses, as well as reflectors
- Applying stains, dyes, and scratch resistant coatings
- Curing magnetic media
- Used in many printing applications, such as aluminum cans,
business cards, etc.
Industrial Benefits
- Instantaneous results
- Reliable
- Space saving; UV units are highly effective, yet require
only a small space
- Environmentally friendly; solvent-free
- Cost effective; simple implementation with little maintenance
- Low energy
- High utilization rate (no solvent carrier to evaporate)
- Cost competitive
