Industrial Process Heating

Services

I. Opportunity Analysis

Our spreadsheet analysis takes into account the energy truly needed to accomplish the process heating task, then estimates the size of various technologies to accomplish the task. The result is a brief report estimating the energy and cost savings from using alternative process heating technologies. Report documents includes capital costs, value of production increase, value of quality improvement, overall production cost due to possible process heating changes and simple payback.

II. Testing

Testing is a vital phase in our process to independently prove if a technology will effectively heat a product as expected using the size and type of technology predicted. This phase also helps us gather more detailed specifications needed to collect bids that are comparable. Testing can be performed at our state-of–the-art testing facility, or, in many cases, a process heating test rig can be built to perform testing at your facility.

III. Purchasing and Quote Support

Advanced Energy works on your behalf with process heating equipment vendors to help determine equipment design and capital cost. We understand the way ovens are built and designed, and this helps us write specifications and verify quotes for your particular process.

IV. Develop Business Case

We gather the information required for developing the business case (approval of capital monies) and review all factors within the process that will benefit from the implementation of the process heating project. We then work with you to help justify the business case to management.

V. Implementation

Our work through implementation helps ensure that deadlines are met and that a process for maximum quality and production of product is verified. Our work continues by helping with equipment purchase, installation, setup and verification to ensure smooth transition and satisfaction.

VI. Follow-up

We conclude with followup to verify that the project met financial expectations. In this phase we provide data to assess technology performance, as promised for internal corporate communication or shareholder reports.
