Case Study An Asian motor manufacturer recently called upon Advanced Energy to assist them in their test lab accreditation. Advanced Energy helped the company refine their testing procedures, evaluate testing equipment, and write a motor lab procedures manual. In preparation for the NVLAP audit, the company also had motors tested in the Advanced Energy lab to verify the accuracy of its own measurements. The result — zero discrepancies on the initial audit. This manufacturer can now provide accredited test data for EPACT certification of motors sold under its own brand as well as for motors it builds for other brand labelers.
