NC GreenPower Welcomes Kristin Caddick as a Communications Fellow

By Jonathan Susser | January 25, 2019

NC GreenPower, Advanced Energy’s renewable energy subsidiary, is excited to welcome Kristin Caddick as a new communications fellow.

Kristin was raised outside Charlotte, North Carolina, and graduated from North Carolina State University last May with a degree in environmental studies conservation biology. She also earned a minor in nonprofit studies and was heavily involved in the Institute for Nonprofits on campus.

Kristin’s interest in the environment and sustainability grew from a love for the outdoors. Years at summer camp helped cultivate this interest, and over time, Kristin developed a particular passion for the human side of the environment and communicating with the public.

When the NC GreenPower communications fellowship opened up, it looked like a perfect opportunity for Kristin to gain additional experience and apply what she had learned in the classroom. Kristin will be assisting the Green Team with communications support and engaging in public outreach through events and workshops.

When she’s not working, Kristin can often be found backpacking or rock climbing. She is also a dog mom and enjoys going for runs with her furry friend.

Kristin is a great fit for NC GreenPower. Her passion for the environment – and her enthusiasm for sharing this passion with others – will allow her to succeed and make an immediate impact, and she is excited to get started.
