Advanced Energy is happy to welcome Lindsay Brecheisen as a marketing and communications coordinator. Lindsay spent the last three summers as a communications intern at the organization, and she is excited to be joining as a full-time employee.
Lindsay is a North Carolina native, born and raised in Chapel Hill. She recently graduated from NC State University, where she majored in environmental science (with a focus on sustainable energy) and minored in renewable energy technology. Her interest in these areas grew out of a love for the outdoors. She spends a lot of time in nature — hiking, camping, running, boating — and this spurred a passion for learning about the world around her.
Lindsay is enthusiastic about her return to Advanced Energy. She is already familiar and comfortable with the projects and work environment, and she is set to pick up where she left off and apply what she learned in school to the organization’s diverse market sectors.
In her new position, Lindsay will support and coordinate outreach and education efforts throughout the company. Much of her focus will be on Plug-in NC, Advanced Energy’s statewide electric vehicle program. She will work to further its reach by planning events, collaborating with volunteers and other organizations, and developing resources.
Advanced Energy’s communications team is delighted to have Lindsay on full time to help support its efforts, and she is eager to begin her career in the energy industry.
