Advanced Energy Welcomes Casey Stone as an Energy Research Analyst
Advanced Energy is excited to welcome Casey Stone as an energy research analyst. Casey was born and raised in northeast Texas and went on to study architectural engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. She is a licensed Professional Engineer, a Certified Energy Manager and a Certified Measurement & Verification Professional.
Casey first became interested in engineering in high school, when she attended a workshop on women in engineering. She initially thought about pursuing mechanical engineering, then switched to civil engineering, and ultimately settled on architectural engineering, realizing her passion lay in working with buildings.
Casey has held a few roles since graduating from college, including running her own business conducting energy audits. Most recently, she was an energy engineer and engineering manager at CLEAResult.
When she came across the opening at Advanced Energy, it appeared to be a great match. She liked the idea of doing research into the ever-changing world of energy efficiency and was intrigued by the possibility of working for a nonprofit.
So far in her new role as an energy research analyst, Casey is supporting the homes and communities team by performing data analysis for a number of projects and pilots.
In her spare time, Casey is kept busy by her 4-year-old daughter (who has a sibling on the way). She also enjoys painting and making mobiles. You can check out her and her family’s art on Instagram — she specializes in animal portraits.
Casey’s experience in the energy and engineering fields makes her a great fit for Advanced Energy, and we are excited to have her on board.
