Certification Body
Advanced Energy is accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board and the Standards Council of Canada as a Certification Body to ISO/IEC 17065 for Energy Efficiency Verification Services including small electric motors, electric motors and generators. We are also designated by the Asociación de Normalización y Certificación A.C. in Mexico for motor efficiency compliance testing to NOM-014 and NOM-016.

Advanced Energy provides a practical suite of services that assist you with the planning and implementation of corporate decarbonization and sustainability initiatives. Our services include renewables planning, EV infrastructure planning, ISO 50001 consulting, and renewable energy certificates and carbon offsets.
Exploring North Carolina’s Clean Energy Transition
Exploring North Carolina’s Clean Energy Transition provides government and business stakeholders with a convenient way to learn about North Carolina’s clean energy transition and the opportunities it offers our state’s utilities, citizens, communities and businesses. In partnership with utilities and local organizations, we host webinars, develop case studies and conduct education and outreach to increase awareness of important clean energy topics.
HVAC Contractor Credentialing
HVAC Contractor Credentialing allows HVAC contractors to affordably obtain the credentials required to work on residential installations in the ENERGY STAR Certified New Homes program. We also support contractors’ growth and success with detailed job reviews, technical assistance and best-in-class training and resources.
NC GreenPower
NC GreenPower is a nonprofit that works to improve North Carolina’s environment by supporting renewable energy and carbon offset projects and providing grants for educational solar PV installations at K-12 schools.
Plug-in NC
Plug-in NC has been working since 2011 to establish North Carolina as a leader in electric transportation. This statewide program promotes electric vehicles through education and outreach, consulting and resource development. It also provides a collaborative opportunity for stakeholders to work together to ensure a seamless integration of electric vehicles into local communities.
Proven Efficiency Verification for Motor Repair
Proven Efficiency Verification (PEV) is a quality assurance program for motor repair that mutually benefits motor repair purchasers and providers. PEV provides motor repair facilities and their customers with verification that the facilities are capable of providing high quality AC induction motor diagnosis and repair.
STEPs4GROWTH
We are a backbone organization of STEPs4GROWTH, a four-year project funded by the Department of Commerce’s EDA-Good Jobs Challenge and led by the Center for Energy Research & Technology at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. The program aims to connect clean energy industry partners with qualified apprenticeship candidates, providing hands-on opportunities for recent high school graduates, community college students, and four-year college students.
SystemVision
SystemVision is the only guaranteed affordable housing program in the nation. Through a partnership with the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency, SystemVision helps ensure that both new and existing homes are healthy, safe, comfortable, durable, energy efficient and affordable. Practical solutions and simplified processes support developers and builders in designing, constructing and marketing affordable homes.
