Mike Stowe Presenting at mfgCON 2017

mfgCON is North Carolina’s premier conference for manufacturing. It brings together local professionals from across the industry to learn about new trends and best practices, network with potential colleagues and build relationships with future collaborators. This year’s event will be held in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, from Sept. 19-20, 2017. It will feature 24 sessions from four tracks: talent development, emerging technologies and innovation, leadership and culture, and business growth.

Mike Stowe, senior energy engineer at Advanced Energy, will be leading one of these sessions and talking about strategic energy management. Strategic energy management is an approach that all manufacturing plants can benefit from. It emphasizes seeking continuous energy improvement through a range of steps, from more basic energy bill tracking all the way to pursuing certification in energy management programs. Mike’s presentation will discuss tools, resources and case studies to demonstrate results from strategic energy management and will explore how involving the entire manufacturing plant team, from machine operators to plant managers, promotes success. You can see Mike’s presentation, “The Strategic Energy Management Continuum: Benefits for All Manufacturers,” on Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 10:20 a.m. to 11:05 a.m.

Advanced Energy is also a sponsor for mfgCON and will be exhibiting at the event. We will even be offering a raffle for a free half-day energy assessment with recommendations report! An energy assessment evaluates the energy usage of a facility and offers areas for improvement. Be sure to stop by the Advanced Energy booth to say hi and enter the drawing!
