Transitions at AE
It is a bittersweet day for Advanced Energy. Kristi Matthews has announced her departure.
Although she will no longer be working within the Advanced Energy family, she is not leaving the energy market. She will be carrying her experiences as the Director of Business Development for AE to the role of Director of Business Development for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). Her work—championing energy efficiency programs, solving energy problems for cooperatives and utilities, and establishing partnerships between her clients and AE—will surely be missed. Kristi’s collaborative spirit is contagious. When she applies it to solving energy problems, the impact increases exponentially. We can’t wait to see what she does next!
Advanced Energy is an associate member of NRECA and will continue to work with the organization and its members to combine research with expertise and collaboration to provide economic, environmental and societal benefits to energy issues. According to its website, NRECA is the national service organization for more than 900 not-for-profit rural electric cooperatives and public power districts providing retail electric service to more than 42 million consumers in 47 states. Their retail sales account for approximately 12 percent of total electricity sales in the United States. To learn more about the association, please visit its website: www.nreca.coop.
Advanced Energy sends Kristi congratulations and wishes her the best in her new job!
