Advanced Energy Welcomes Anna Hardison as an Energy Consultant

Advanced Energy is excited to welcome Anna Hardison as an energy consultant with our power systems transmission team. Anna is from Greenville, South Carolina, and attended Clemson University, where she earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering.

After graduating from Clemson, Anna went to work for semiconductor manufacturer Wolfspeed. She served as a validation engineer, performing electrical testing of high-powered MOSFETs, which are a type of transistor used across the power industry.

Anna was drawn to Advanced Energy for the opportunity to do more fieldwork in the energy sector. In her new position, she’ll be verifying inverter-based resources (IBRs) connected to the transmission grid. This service is essential for grid reliability, ensuring these sites comply with necessary codes, standards and agreements — and ultimately that they’ll perform as expected. Any issues we find are fixed before the facilities are approved for commercial operation.

When she isn’t working, Anna enjoys bird-watching. She’s also learning to sew.
