Advanced Energy Welcomes Feliks Ciesielski as an Associate Energy Consultant
Advanced Energy is delighted to welcome back Feliks Ciesielski as an associate energy consultant with our power systems transmission team. Feliks previously served as a co-op student and intern with our motors and drives lab. He was born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and earned a degree in mechanical engineering from NC State University.

In addition to his prior experience with Advanced Energy, Feliks completed an internship in manufacturing engineering with Gilero, a company specializing in medical device design and development. His interest in engineering took shape in high school, after he finished a program in basic engineering through Project Lead the Way. He decided to pursue mechanical engineering because he appreciated its broad focus.
Although the power systems area is new for him, Feliks loves learning new things and was excited to return to Advanced Energy. In his new role, he’ll be supporting a group responsible for verifying the reliability, performance and safety of solar facilities and other inverter-based resources. Feliks is particularly focused on the settings review part of the process, which involves digging into inverter and relay settings to determine whether they align with facility interconnection requirements.
In his spare time, Feliks enjoys working out, playing ultimate frisbee and reading.
